> Buy Land In Peru helps people from other countries find, check and buy property in Peru safely, at the local price. It is run by Lucas, a US and Peruvian citizen who lives on his own land about 3.5 km outside Lamas, San Martín, in Peru's high jungle, and who has bought land there himself.

- Region: based in Lamas, San Martín (near Tarapoto). Scouts land in San Martín in person; gives honest advice about other regions.
- Services: "A slice of the rainforest" (small plots, from USD 500 flat fee), "The search" (from USD 1,000 plus success fee), "Start to finish" (remote purchase help, from USD 2,000 plus success fee). The first three clients pay expenses only.
- Safety: purchase money is held in a bank trust (fideicomiso) or by the notary, never by Lucas. Title is registered with SUNARP in the buyer's name. A licensed Peruvian attorney handles the legal side. Lucas is not a lawyer.
